HISTORICAL QUIN MAP: Quin Heritage Group, with the help of local artist Judy Prendergast, has devised a map that should help locals and visitors alike to locate the principal archaeological and historical sites in the Quin area.
In addition there are fine sketches and some key information on the forty-one sites identified. These range from Bronze Age monuments, medieval inauguration mounds, tower houses, ‘Big Houses’ and forges, indicating the range of architectural treasures in the village vicinity.
Ideal for Christmas posting, a limited supply of the map will be available in the local shops and other outlets from mid-November.
