Tom O’Louglin was born in Toonagh in 1953 and moved to Corbally in the 1960’s. He attended Clooney school and later the Brothers in Ennis. In this interview Tom reminisces about his early years working on the family farm, his first job in Rowan’s in Ennis, trips to the cinema in Tulla and some of the older traditions such as the Cuaird and Meitheal. He reflects on some of the changes he has seen in the locality and his lovely wife Anita joins to share memories of time spent with her father Andy Mac who ran the travelling shop, which was a vital service in rural Ireland in those times.
