Jimmy Reynolds, Ballyhannon, Quin

Jimmy Reynolds was born in 1944 and reared in Ballyhannon Quin.

He reminisces about his days working for the Blood  family in Ballykilty Manor and his years in Shannon Airport. He spoke warmly of his father Pat who was a well known character in the parish and raconteur.

Pat was most  knowledgeable about local history and regaled tourists for many years at Ballykilty Manor with both songs and  local lore.
