P.J Vaughan Maghera

Welcome to another episode of the Quin Heritage Group series. In this interview, we are delighted to chat with P.J. Vaughan, a retired farmer and blacksmith from Maghera.

P.J. carries a legacy that stretches back to the 1930s, when his father established a forge that would become a cornerstone of craftsmanship in the area. As P.J. learned the trade as his father’s apprentice, he developed invaluable skills that transformed the forge from traditional blacksmithing into a hub for welding and ironworks.
